New Futures DC is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting students and job seekers in exploring viable career paths. In association with Global Skills Exchange, they wanted to develop an empowering web tool that helped their audience identify potential careers based on their interests and skills.
The New Futures team delivers a unique, personal experience during one-on-one consultations. With The Sutter Group, I devised a strategy that wouldn't lose the integrity of that interaction. Our biggest challenge was presenting content in a way that wouldn't overwhelm users, and was easy to navigate for users who may already be in a confusing life place. Empathy drove this project, and the results were phenomenal.
The Career Navigator continues to grow in capabilities and has assisted thousands of students in discovering potential careers paths with continued success.
